Gyakie, whose real name is Jacqueline Acheampong, is a Ghanaian musician who has spoken candidly about the extreme stress she endured in the early stages of her career.

The talented performer told BBC Africa that she often felt so overwhelmed (to the point of tears) by the high expectations of both fans and management.

Gyaki recalls this incident, saying: “I will take a napkin and cry if I get pushed or yelled at.

That’s why I don’t like being addressed and shouted at.
