Game time announced for Oklahoma State at TCU

Oklahoma State is gearing up for primetime action in Fort Worth.

Following Saturday’s games, the Big 12 announced start times for Week 11, which will include OSU’s game at TCU. Kickoff for the Cowboys and Horned Frogs is scheduled to air on FS1 at 6:00 p.m.

The Cowboys were originally scheduled to play Arizona State on homecoming at 6 p.m. However, due to weather forecasts, the game was moved to 2:30, which was inconsequential since there was still a nearly three-hour delay.

After nearly three hours between halves, OSU allowed Arizona State to score 21 straight points to start the second half, putting the game out of reach. Ultimately losing 42–21, the Cowboys fell to 3–6 and remain winless in Big 12 play.

In the upcoming matchup against TCU, OSU has no choice but to win. After 18 straight winning seasons and bowl appearances, another loss for the Cowboys would officially end both of those streaks.

Meanwhile, TCU’s loss to Baylor on Saturday effectively ended their chances at the Big 12 Championship. However, TCU could become the second team in the last two weeks to secure bowl eligibility by defeating OSU.

The Cowboys have looked poor all season, but after playing a couple of competitive games after the bye week, there were signs of life. While weather may have had an impact, the Cowboys looked lifeless in the second half against Arizona State.

With a veteran group expected to contend for a Big 12 title and contend for a spot in the College Football Playoff, this season has proven to be the most disappointing of the Mike Gundy era.

With three games remaining, OSU must win to salvage the season, but with solid opponents in each matchup, winning even one game could be a success for this group.
