Bleach: A Thousand Years of Blood War has a post-credits problem

Bleach third part Thousand Years of Bloody War marks one of the biggest comebacks of the fall anime season as Ichigo and Soul Society continue their fight against Yhwach and the Quincy Clan. With a few episodes under its belt, the third installment of the anime series has come to the fore, giving anime fans some amazing moments. Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems with Studio Pierrot’s latest project is one that could be fixed fairly easily. The post-credits scenes in A Thousand Years of Blood are a major challenge, especially for those who don’t stick around after the credits.

Post-credit scenes have long been a part of the anime world. These scenes usually give fans a clue about what’s going on in the anime they’re watching. Shows how Demon Slayer, My Hero Academiaand many others include scenes that appear after the ending theme. Of course, post-credit scenes in the world of entertainment have become most notable, perhaps thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in Bleach In this case, there’s a pretty big caveat to the post-credits scenes and why they put viewers in an awkward position if they miss them.

Post-credits scene problem

Bleach the ongoing post-credits scenes are absolutely essential to understanding what’s happening in the story and what’s happening next. For example, in the last episode we see Yhwach do the unthinkable and absorb the power of the Soul King himself into his being. On top of that, we see the terrifying new form of the Quincy leader, and if you happened to miss this scene, you would be quite confused if you skipped straight to the next episode, except that Pierrot is giving a recap in the opening moments of the next part.

When it comes to scenes like these, A Thousand Years of Blood would have benefited from placing them before the credits roll, and perhaps shifting the post-credits scenes to focus more on a brief teaser of what’s to come. Having such important footage filmed at a time when people may be unplugged creates a difficult situation for anime fans, leaving them potentially confused and frustrated. Ultimately, the post-credits scene is a minor complaint, but it can cause major headaches for those who may have missed key details.

The bloody war continues

When it comes to the Blood War, it is necessary to witness every event in order to grasp the grand scale of what is happening in the world of Soul Society. This latest issue not only continued the fight against Yhwach, but also forged new partnerships in the line of fire. Thanks to the risky move of freeing Aizen from his prison in Soul Society while he was still locked in the chair, the villain extended a large hand to the Shinigami. On the other hand, some members of Sternritter feel betrayed by Yhwach taking back his power, meaning they are more than willing to fight against their former leader.

We’re not even halfway through the third part yet. Bleach The anime is getting a revival, but manga readers know we’re in for some big moments. Now that Yhwach has taken the Soul King’s ultimate power and added it to his own, defeating him will be a feat that will take everything Soul Society has.
