CBSE Starts Scholarship Application Process for Single Girls, Check Details

In an official notification, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited online scholarship application for single girls. This particular scheme aims to provide scholarships to deserving female students who are the only children of their parents. Students applying for this scholarship can apply through the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

Once shortlisted for the scholarship, the selected students will receive an amount of Rs 500 per month. Below are two merit scholarship schemes that students can apply for:

– Single Girls Scholarship Scheme X 2023 (extended 2024)

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girls: Eligibility Criteria

– To be eligible for the scholarship, all single female students must score 70 percent or above in the Class 10 CBSE examination. They must study in classes 11 and 12 in CBSE affiliated schools, with tuition fees not exceeding Rs 2,500 per month.

– The Council also allows NRI applicants to avail this scholarship scheme. The maximum tuition fee for NRIs is set at Rs 6,000 per month.

– Students whose families have a gross income of up to 8 lakhs per annum can apply for the scholarship.

Here’s how you can apply for CBSE Scholarship for Single Girls online –

Step 1: For the first step, you need to visit the official website of CBSE www.cbse.nic.in.

Step 2: Now you need to find the link “X-2024 REG Single Girls Scholarship” and click on it.

Step 3: In the next step, you need to click on the link of the given scholarship application.

Step 4: A new tab should open on your computer screen, where you will be asked to select the type of application – fresh or renewed.

Step 5: After selecting your option, you will need to fill out the application form.

Step 6: Upload all the required documents before applying for the Single Girls Scholarship.

Step 7: Be sure to download a printout of the form to your computer as a PDF file.

Step 8: Printing the document will help you refer to it in the future if necessary.
