If you’ve recently upgraded your laptop, you may suddenly find yourself without access to Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and the rest of Microsoft’s almost essential software. And since Microsoft has moved from the traditional Office suite to the Microsoft 365 subscription service, access to these programs has become more expensive. One thing to note is that although StackSocial is an authorized Microsoft partner, it is possible that Microsoft itself could end this deal. It’s unlikely the company will do this, however: the version of Microsoft Office I bought through StackSocial over a year ago still runs on my Mac.
