One of Batman’s most fearsome Batmobiles could soon be yours.

Wayne Enterprises has partnered with Action Vehicle Engineering to create a limited edition of 10 Tumblers Batmobiles, each an exact replica of the one used in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Sanctioned by Warner Bros., managed (though not street legal), and built entirely to scale, this collaboration will make many a childhood comic book dream come true.

Each glass is expected to be sold by invitation only. From deposit to delivery, each glass will take 15 months. Every facet of its surface has been carefully studied to match the original, the original model of which was assembled from various model car, boat and airplane kits. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine producing 525 hp. mated to a 4L85E paddle-shift transmission that should provide a fair amount of power. And although it might not have happened All With the bells and whistles of a real Batmobile, the vehicle actually features a smokescreen delivery system and mock-up gun turrets along the exterior of the body, made from Kevlar, carbon fiber, and fiberglass sheet metal.

From his earliest appearances in comics, Batman’s favorite car, officially named the Batmobile in Detective Comics #48, published in February 1941, has been synonymous with his adventures. It makes sense that Wayne Enterprises, which is also the name of the fictional Batman/Bruce Wayne company, would want to take on the difficult task of recreating it.

Sponsored by DC Comics and its parent company Warner Bros., Wayne Enterprises specializes in curating elements of Wayne’s billionaire lifestyle, including technology, fashion, art, jet skis and residences, for visitors to its website and exclusive live events. The latter is set in an undisclosed Manhattan townhouse with seven floors of ready-to-ship Batman merchandise. While current laws prohibit the owner from bringing his own Tumbler, we’re willing to bet there are quite a few Wayne Enterprises members still vying for one of these 10 spots.

Of course, it won’t be cheap. After all, the Batmobile was conceived by a billionaire. Each of the 10 lucky owners will have to shell out a cool $3 million to own their piece of Batman’s iconic arsenal. Holy cheddar, Batman.
