This terrible season Kelly Stafford joked that she was being visited by a very famous spirit.

On the Thursday, October 31 episode of The Morning After podcast, Kelly and her co-star Hank Winchester discussed whether they believed in ghosts.

“Yes, I know,” Kelly said. “They are everywhere. You must believe in some eternal being, right?”

In fact, Kelly said her family’s personal chef recently noticed the presence of some disgusting guests.

“I’m pretty sure Chef Chris thinks the house is haunted,” Kelly said.

When Winchester suggested that the ghost might be a ghost Jennifer Lopez — who previously owned the Los Angeles property that Kelly shares with her husband. Matthew Stafford and their four daughters, 6-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4—Kelly couldn’t help but play along.

“Yes, the ghost of JLo!” she said. “Fantastic.”

In December 2023, Kelly and Matthew, 36, purchased the sprawling Hidden Hills estate for $28.3 million. The sale set the area’s previous record of $23 million, according to Realtor.com.

Earlier in 2022, the Staffords bought the adjacent property for $10.5 million per retail unit, which includes a 1980s red brick house and a vineyard.

With both properties secured, the family now owns a 3-acre complex with two homes and two pools valued at nearly $40 million, according to Robb Report.

In 2022, Matthew signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams for $160 million.

Lopez, 55, lived in the Staffords’ current home from 2010 to 2017, where she built a mansion with nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. The house also had a cinema, a bar and a recording studio. Lopez sold the property for $10 million.

After Lopez left, a designer came in to subdivide the property and design two spec homes. The Staffords live in one of them, and the other is currently on the market for $40 million.

The Staffords owned at least five homes in luxury Hidden Hills, according to Realtor.com. In April 2022, they purchased two houses from Drake for $11 million, which was nearly $4 million above the asking price at the time.

Matthew and Kelly also sold a home in Hidden Hills for $21 million in 2022.
