VAMNICOM announces PGDCBM batch results; Admission opens for the 58th intake

Vaikunt Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) has officially declared the results of the 57th edition of its prestigious Postgraduate Diploma in Cooperative Business Management (PGDCBM).

Topping the list is Ms. Somaiya of the Karnataka State Cooperative Federation, with Mr. Rishot Shanborlang Marbaniang and Mr. Jefferson Thongni, both of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Meghalaya, occupying the second and third positions respectively.

A total of 11 participants from various cooperative organizations including Bellary District Cooperative Society, Karnataka State Cooperative Federation Ltd., Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Meghalaya, Mulkanur Cooperative Rural Credit and Marketing Society and MP Rajya Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Bhopal. , successfully completed the program.

The director of VAMNIKOM congratulated the participants on their dedication and achievements. She also shared the news that 10 outstanding participants will receive a scholarship of Rs 50,000 funded by the Cooperative Educational Foundation of the Ministry of Cooperation, New Delhi.

She highlighted the importance of the PGDCBM diploma, saying that as per a recent notification by the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS), New Delhi, the program now qualifies participants as “fit and proper” to take up CEO positions in several states. cooperative societies. This development of events significantly expands the career prospects of diploma holders.

Dr. R. Elangovan, Professor and Program Director, PGDCBM announced that admissions for the 58th batch, which will begin on November 18, 2024, are now open.

The program will be implemented in a hybrid format, covering employees and officials of cooperative departments, cooperative organizations, cooperative banks, credit cooperative societies, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and multi-state cooperative societies.
