Why is this so important?

Trump’s decision to appear on “The Joe Rogan Experience” marks an important moment in his media strategy.
Rogan’s podcast is an influential platform with over 14 million subscribers on Spotify and 17 million subscribers on YouTube.
According to a YouGov poll, 81 percent of Rogan’s listeners are men and 56 percent are under 35. This demographic has traditionally leaned toward Trump but tends to vote less. Using Rogan’s vast listener base, Trump is trying to energize this key group just days before the election.
Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, has also made an effort to reach a wider audience, appearing on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast earlier this month.
Both candidates acknowledge the growing importance of non-traditional media in shaping voter opinion, especially in light of 2024 elections approaching its final stretch.
Thanks to Rogan’s influence, this interview could play a decisive role in Trump’s work with young voters.
