Santa Fe Style 3.5 oz bags of Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips have been recalled because they may not actually contain tortilla strips.

Sugar Foods initiated the voluntary recall after receiving a Nov. 19 consumer report that the bags did contain crispy onions. Crispy onions are not only the wrong product, but they also contain wheat, which is not listed on the tortilla label.

“People who have a wheat allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat are at risk of having a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” states a notice on the Food and Drug Administration’s website.
