Without Brock Purdy, the focus shifts to Christian McCaffery even more than usual. He is the reigning Forward of the Year and despite missing the first half of the season, he is back and has already made a big impact on the team. He only played in two games: a win over the Bucs and a loss to the Seahawks. He had 100 rushing yards in both games but had yet to find the end zone. He’ll get a big dose of the ball today, but Jordan Mason will also play in the backline, just to make sure McCaffery doesn’t get overworked in just his third week back from injury.
