MDC24: Legit.ng Journalist to Participate in CJID Media and Development Conference

  • The Center for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) is planning to hold the Media and Development Conference 2024 (#MDC2024) in Abuja from November 25 to 27.
  • The conference, titled “Navigating Global Change: Media and Technology for Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa,” will bring together more than 250 delegates from various fields to discuss key issues.
  • Legit.ng Head of Politics and Current Affairs Nurudeen Lawal is one of the journalists selected to attend the event as a media delegate.

Abuja, FCT – The Center for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) will host the Media and Development Conference 2024 (#MDC2024) in Abuja from Monday, November 25 to Wednesday, November 27.

MDC2024 will bring together over 250 delegates, media professionals, civil society representatives, technology experts, government agencies and the international community to discuss the theme “Navigating Global Change: Media and Technology for Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa”.

The two-day event will include keynotes, panel sessions, technical workshops and networking events. The event is planned as follows:

The two-day conference will be followed by a Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria and a dinner and awards ceremony to celebrate CJID’s 10th anniversary on November 27.
