Former Michigan QB sent Carter Smith to Wisconsin Badgers

Former Michigan QB sent Carter Smith to Wisconsin Badgers

Former Michigan player Carter Smith decommitted from the Wolverines back on Oct. 30, when negotiations for Bryce Underwood began to really heat up. The Wolverines ended up getting Underwood, although it looked like Smith would take his talents south to Florida State, a prediction Steve Wiltfong made.

But on Sunday, Smith remained in the Big Ten and committed to Wisconsin.

Smith is ranked as the nation’s No. 164 player and No. 15 quarterback, according to the Composite. For a long time, Smith was the only quarterback in the Wolverines’ class, but once he left the lineup, Michigan was able to hit the fences and land the best player in the ’25 cycle.

Michigan will have a chance to compete with Smith over the next three to five years by competing in the conference and playing for the Badgers.
