How to make a child’s wish come true

How to make a child’s wish come true

This year you can become one of Santa’s little helpers and fulfill the wish of a child or parent who wrote to the jolly fellow.

The United States Postal Service has relaunched Operation Santa, which helps people connect with Santa and his helpers.

The operation begins with people sending a letter to Santa at 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888. These letters are then scanned and posted online so people can adopt them.

While many of the letters are written by children, some are from parents who have fallen on hard times.

Once a person accepts the letter, they can shop directly on the website and send the gift directly to the recipient via USPS.

“USPS Operation Santa has been bringing communities together through holiday goodwill for more than a century,” said USPS Vice President of Marketing Sheila Holman. “This year, through our partnership with Toys “R” Us, we’re excited to offer generous people an easier way to make a difference. With the launch of this new e-commerce platform, we are making it easier than ever to fulfill wishes and spread holiday joy.”

The last day to send the letter is Monday, December 9th. Letter adoptions must be completed by December 16th to ensure packages can arrive in time for Christmas.
