Diddy’s Bail Update: Diddy Smiles, Blows a Kiss to Family in Court and Makes Third Bail Attempt

Diddy smiles, blows a kiss to his family in court and makes his third attempt to get bail
Diddy has applied for bail for the third time in a sex trafficking case.

On Friday, Sean Diddy Combs blew a kiss to his family as they attended a hearing in Manhattan court, where Diddy made his third attempt to get bail while awaiting trial on charges he has denied – sex trafficking, sex racketeering, transportation to participate in prostitution. His 17-year-old twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila Combe were in court today along with other family members. Diddy entered the court through a side door wearing prison clothes, smiled and waved to family members.
Diddy’s lawyers plan to ask Judge Arun Subramanian to release him on $50 million bail as he prepares for a May 2025 trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
The third bail application came after the prosecution accused Diddy of influencing witnesses from jail through third parties. Diddy’s lawyers denied the allegations and condemned the search of Diddy’s cell.
Earlier this week, a judge ordered federal prosecutors to delete images of the billionaire tycoon’s handwritten notes taken during a search of his prison, which his lawyers said were protected by attorney-client privilege and were illegally seized. Excerpts from those recordings previously cited by prosecutors cannot be used at the bail hearing, the judge added.
Since Diddy has been in jail since September, numerous lawsuits have been filed against him alleging rape, sexual assault, child rape, etc.
Federal authorities began investigating in November 2023, around the time Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura sued Combs, accusing him of physical and sexual abuse. He settled her civil suit the day after she filed it.
