Blue Grass Airport and Delta Air Lines Announce Nonstop Flight from LEX to New York

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Blue Grass Airport and Delta Air Lines announced Friday the resumption of nonstop service from Lexington to New York City beginning May 7, 2025.

Flights to New York’s LaGuardia Airport were previously offered in Lexington before the COVID-19 pandemic and have now returned due to popular demand, according to the release.

Tickets will be available on November 23rd from Delta Air Lines | Flights and plane tickets + hotels and cars.

Blue Grass Airport has released the following new flight schedule:

• Departure: Lexington, Kentucky. at 7:00 am and Arrival: New York, New York. at 8:50 am
• Departure: New York, New York. at 19:59 & Arrival: Lexington, Kentucky. at 21:49

In addition, Delta Air Lines notes that during the holiday season, special flights will be added on December 20 and 22 for individuals wishing to travel to New York before May 7.
