Left-hander Lucas Gilbreath and Rokis agree to a one-year contract worth $785,000.

DENVER (AP) — Left-hander Lucas Gilbreath and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a one-year, $785,000 deal ahead of Friday’s deadline for teams to offer contracts to unsigned players on their 40-man roster.

The 28-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery on March 14, 2023, and returned to the major leagues on August 16 last year. He also pitched on August 22 and 25 before returning to the injured list with left shoulder inflammation.

Gilbreath was eligible for wage arbitration.

He’s 5-2 with a 4.36 ERA in 96 relief appearances and one start over three major league seasons.
