Four-star Class of 2025 wide receiver Cortez Mills rocked a Nebraska football jersey in a workout video posted earlier this week.

Mills has been a long-time target for Nebraska. They first offered the receiver on December 16, 2022. He committed to the Oklahoma Sooners on July 1, but Nebraska has been active in recruiting him over the past year. He made two unofficial visits on January 20 and September 7. He made an official visit in connection with the “red-white” match on April 26.

Mills is the 15th-best wide receiver in the 2025 class and the 18th-best player in the state of Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The Huskers are trying to build a powerhouse at wide receiver in the 2025 class. They already have Isaiah Mozee and a ton of talent on their roster. The class itself is ranked No. 21 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Rankings.

This would be a solid addition for Nebraska football. This coaching staff has demonstrated strong recruiting abilities, and Mills will certainly be a notch in the proverbial belt for the coaching staff.
