Nikki Haley speaks to the masses in a pro-Trump article: “The Best Choice”

Nikki Haley speaks to the masses in a pro-Trump article: “The Best Choice”

Nikki Haley, a Republican who ran against former President Trump several months ago, wrote a supportive piece about the presidential candidate on Sunday, two days before Election Day.

The former governor of South Carolina wrote a recently published article entitled “Trump Isn’t Perfect, But He’s the Best Choice.” It was published in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday.

Haley challenged Trump in the 2024 Republican primary but withdrew in early March. In the article, she argued that the “millions” of Americans who have mixed views about Trump should vote for him.

“I disagree with Mr. Trump 100 percent of the time,” Haley admitted. “But I agree with him most of the time and almost always disagree with Ms. Harris. That makes it an easy choice.”

Haley served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during Trump’s tenure from 2017 to 2018. She is known to have openly praised and criticized the Trump campaign and argued that the “Biden-Harris agenda” has made the world a “much more dangerous” place. “

“Our southern border poses the greatest threat to our security; Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris have made the situation significantly worse,” the Republican wrote. “Their defeat in Afghanistan not only created a new terrorist state; it also signaled the weakness that triggered Russia’s war against Ukraine.”

“Their appeasement of Iran has enriched this oppressive regime and emboldened it to wage war on Israel through its terrorist proxies,” Haley added.

The former ambassador predicted a second Trump presidency “wouldn’t be perfect,” but it would include tax cuts, greater support for American energy and an improved standing on the world stage.

“These are huge political differences that will affect the lives of every American and much of the world,” Haley wrote. “Will Mr. Trump do something I don’t like in a second term? I’m sure he will do it. If this was an issue before voters, I think Mr. Trump would lose.”

“But this is not a matter of any election,” she added. “No politician gets it right. For those of us who are discerning enough to see Trump’s flaws and honest enough to admit them, the question is whether we are better off with his policies or those of his opponent.”

“On taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy and national security, the candidates are miles apart. And Mr. Trump is clearly the best choice.”

The piece comes days after TV host Mark Cuban made controversial remarks about Trump’s lack of “strong women” and specifically mentioned Haley.

“Donald Trump, you will never see him among strong, smart women. Never,” Cuban said Thursday on The View. “It’s very simple. They scare him.”

“He doesn’t like it when they challenge him, and you know Nikki Haley will call him on his nonsense about reproductive rights and the way he sees, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can’t have her around. This won’t work,” the businessman added.

In a Fox News Special Report last week, Haley repeated her approval of Trump’s invitation to Bret Baier.

“It’s similar to what I said at the Republican National Convention. You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” Haley said. “So, to me, we have a choice. The choice is given. Or Donald Trump or is it Kamala Harris. For my family, I point out the fact that my daughter says she can’t afford groceries. And I look at the economy, which has been difficult for all of us.”
