Is Tank Bigsby playing today? (Injury Update, Betting Impact on Jaguars vs. IG

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby is questionable for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but is expected to play due to an ankle injury, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

In addition to Bigsby playing in Week 9, the Jaguars are expected to return running back Travis Etienne Jr. from a hamstring injury that sidelined him the last two games. The former first-round pick entered this season as a starter, but could end up losing his job to Bigsby down the stretch.

Bigsby has performed well as a starter for the Jaguars and has outperformed Etienne in terms of efficiency this season (5.8 yards per carry vs. 4.1 yards per carry).

Here’s Bigsby’s week nine analysis of the prop market.

The oddsmakers have yet to release Bigsby’s Week 9 picks as both he and Etienne are questionable for the matchup.

We haven’t seen the Jaguars play both guards since Etienne went down with a hamstring injury, but Bigsby must have earned a bigger role after putting up 196 points and two goals over the last two weeks with 44 transfers.

I’d lean on Bigsby’s OVER in rushing yards once he’s released, but he also deserves a chance to be a scorer anytime if the backfield becomes 50/50.
