CPE Capital acquires Perth meat business for $200 million

Sydney backer CPE Capital is completing its acquisition of the Perth-based sausage maker whose products are appearing in the fridges of the country’s biggest supermarkets.

CPE managing director Cameron Buchanan is in talks to buy The British Sausage Company – a maker of sausages, hams, bacon, burgers and mince pies for Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Harris Farm Markets – for around $200 million, Street Talk has learned.
