The “Bear” star will play the “Born to Run” singer in the upcoming biopic “Get Me Out of Nowhere.”

Jeremy Allen White has The Boss seal of approval. Bear the actor is set to play Bruce Springsteen in an upcoming biopic, and the “Born to Run” singer is 100% behind the casting.

White is currently filming Deliver me from nowhere film based on Warren Zanes’ book about the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album. Nebraska. The 33-year-old Emmy winner was recently caught by photographers wearing a cap and leather jacket on set in Montclair, New Jersey.

White’s challenge in the film will be to “portray a very internal man,” Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau told The Telegraph in a recent joint interview with him and Springsteen. (Continuity star Jeremy Strong will play Landau in the film.)

“There are always a huge number of events going on, some of which are being formulated and some of which are being held back,” Landau said.

But Springsteen himself is confident that White will cope with this task.

“I only needed to see him on Bear, and I knew he was the guy because he had such an inner life, but at the same time he was a little cheeky,” he said.

As for White, he immersed himself in all things Springsteen to prepare for his role in the film. Deliver me from nowhere which is directed by Scott Cooper, who also directed Crazy Heart, Black Mass, And Pale blue eye.

“I have a really talented group of people who are helping me train vocally and musically to prepare for this.” Iron claw the actor told GQ. “I’m also very lucky that Bruce is really supportive of the film, and so I had some access to him, and he’s just the greatest guy.”

“Plus, there’s a lot of footage,” he added. “It’s really cool to go down the YouTube rabbit hole and find him at different points in his life and be able to listen to his speaking voice as well as his singing voice. That was the deal: just listen to him a lot and watch him a lot. It was a lot of fun getting ready.”

White also noted that he and the “Born In the USA” singer have at least one thing in common: a casual sense of style.

“Bruce Springsteen—I mean that in the best possible way—he’s the guy. He’s a jeans and T-shirt guy,” he said. “It was interesting to know that we at least had something in common.”
