Donald Trump ‘disappointed’ with Kamala Harris’ Julia Roberts ad

Three days before the presidential election, Donald Trump took aim at Julia Roberts over her support for Kamala Harris.

On Saturday, the former president called Fox and friendswhere he criticized the Oscar winner for talking about his opponent’s recent “Vote for the Common Good” ad encouraging women to vote for Harris regardless of their husbands’ opinions.

“I am so disappointed in Julia Roberts,” Trump said in his speech. “She’ll look back at it and cringe. – Did I really say that? It doesn’t say much about her relationship, but I’m sure she has a great relationship.”

Trump continued: “But wives and husbands, I don’t think they do that. Can you imagine a wife not telling her husband who she is voting for? Have you ever heard anything like this? Even if you are in a terrible relationship, if you were in a bad relationship, you will tell your husband. This is a funny ad. So stupid. Will she ever look back and say, “Did I really do that?”

The ad shows two women walking into voting booths while their husbands wait for them. They make eye contact as they fill the bubble for Harris and his running mate, Tim Walz.

-Did you make the right choice? one husband asks, and the wife replies, “Of course, honey.”

Roberts says in voiceover: “In the only place in America where women still have the right to choose, you can vote the way you want and no one will ever know. Remember, what happens in the booth stays in the booth. Vote Harris/Walz.”

Trump’s response comes as Harris makes a final push to undecided voters by capping off her historic $370 million paid media campaign with a “Bright Future” ad airing on CBS and Fox during Saturday’s NFL games at 1 p.m. ET time.
