Suspect bit police during pursuit on Park Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A suspect is in custody Friday after Rochester police said he bit two officers.

Officers said they located a recently stolen vehicle on Park Avenue around 5:55 p.m., which led to a pursuit with the suspect.

They say when officers took the 29-year-old suspect into custody, he attacked and bit two of them.

In addition to the car theft charges, the suspect will reportedly be charged with assaulting police officers and has several outstanding warrants.

As a result of the incident, one of the officers received medical attention.
