Scienscope Awarded 2024 Innovation Medal – Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science is pleased to announce that Scientific range (Faculty of Natural Sciences) and Polyscope (Faculty of Social Sciences) jointly received Medal for Innovation this year Academician dies. This prestigious award recognizes their outstanding contributions to public engagement through innovative educational and research initiatives.

Scientific range was honored for her key role in promoting science education and literacy. Scienscope welcomes more than 25,000 students annually, offering hands-on classes and interactive seminars in ten scientific disciplines. This activity makes scientific knowledge accessible to everyone while encouraging young people to pursue careers in science. Scienscope’s efforts not only demystify complex scientific concepts, but also inspire the next generation to contribute to future research and innovation.

Polyscopefrom the Faculty of Social Sciences, was recognized for building connections between academia and the public on critical social issues. Through debates, role-playing exercises and an interactive multimedia installation, Poliscope helps participants explore topics such as migration, inequality and gender. These initiatives promote informed public dialogue with the support of faculty experts.

Medal for InnovationThe award, awarded annually since 2013, highlights the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and using academic excellence to benefit society.
