More financial questions arise about Canton’s Hall of Fame resort.

CANTON, Ohio – Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. has defaulted on land leases for an indoor water park the company is building at its 100-acre soccer-themed resort in Canton.

According to regulatory filings, Hall of Fame Resort (Nasdaq: HOFV) said it received a $2.6 million lease default notice on Oct. 26 from the owner of the Gameday Bay indoor water park, HFAKOH001 LLC, which is a subsidiary of the Chicago-based company.
