From the 2025/26 season onwards, digital video clips of every match will be available on the website, BBC Sport app and social media, giving football fans more goals, more world-class saves as they scroll through their social feeds.

The BBC will broadcast 21 matches live each season, including 14 exclusive matches on BBC TV and seven on the BBC iPlayer and BBC digital platforms. BBC Sport will also remain the venue for the Women’s League Cup Final.

The best sporting stories are broadcast and audio commentary of selected matches will also be available on BBC Radio 5 Live, Sounds and BBC Local Radio every game week weekend.

“There are so many great players, matches and stories every season and this deal allows fans to enjoy them for free wherever they are, whether it’s clips on the website, iPlayer and social media, or the full 90 minutes on TV, radio and in Sounds.

“We remain the UK’s most popular sports broadcaster, delivering unparalleled cross-platform coverage, so it’s great to be able to continue to offer WSL to audiences as part of our unparalleled free-to-air portfolio. With UEFA EURO 2025 and the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup just around the corner, the BBC will continue to provide women’s sport with a platform to reach audiences across the UK.”
