Penn State White Out vs. Washington still waiting to start

Penn State White Out vs. Washington still waiting to start

Every Monday, the Big Ten announces official kickoff times and broadcast information for games that will take place two weekends later. But there were plenty of games to decide this week, including Penn State.

The Penn State-Washington matchup at Beaver Stadium – White Out this year – will begin at either 3:30 or 8:00 p.m., with a broadcast network yet to be determined.

Michigan-Indiana, Purdue-Ohio and Minnesota-Rutgers are also still waiting in the wings. Decisions will be made after this weekend’s games.

When deciding on the White Out this season, Penn State took into account that the biggest game of the year, Ohio State, would likely start at noon on FOX. This, of course, happened. In the event that the official White Out game does not become a night game, fans can take solace in the fact that the Illinois game (a 21-7 win) was the unofficial White Out of the night game.

Washington was an attractive pick this offseason considering the Huskies were ranked No. 2 nationally last year. But this year they are only 4-4, and they have a completely new coaching staff with a huge turnover.

Penn State will play its biggest game of the year this weekend against Ohio State at noon on FOX.
