A new attempt was made on the life of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The politician himself announced this.

According to him, the attempt was committed in October, when a man with a loaded pistol tried to go to an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Carpathian-Dukla military operation. Fico believes that the assassination attempt is related to his position on Ukraine.

Let us recall that in May 2024, an attempt had already been made on Fico’s life when a local activist Juraj Chintula shot him. The Prime Minister of Slovakia received several bullet wounds. One of the reasons for the attack was also Fico’s position on Ukraine.
