Hyderabad: Accusing the state Congress government of taking revenge by attacking the BRS leadership due to political vendetta, party leaders Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy and P Sabita Indra Reddy on Sunday strongly condemned the police raid on the residence of the working party president. Brother-in-law of K. T. Rama Rao Raj Pakala.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, the three former ministers expressed their outrage at the events following the housewarming party hosted by Raj Pakala at his new home.

They expressed concern over the deteriorating state of affairs under the leadership of the Congress. They criticized the police for trying to enter the house without a search warrant and for attacking Raj Pakala and his family.

Srinivas Yadav questioned the validity of the complaint and the subsequent report that mentioned four additional bottles of liquor. They stressed that attacks on individuals and their families are not good political practice and accused the police of acting in a conspiracy.

Prashanth Reddy accused the government of conspiring against Rama Rao, saying they could not oppose him politically. He noted that nothing was found at Janwada farm, but the police conducted a search at Raj Pakala’s house in Gachibowli.

He alleged that the government was trying to frame Raj Pakala by creating false evidence and that senior officials were monitoring the situation.

Sabita Indra Reddy criticized the government for trying to disrupt personal celebrations and questioned the legality of conducting searches without a warrant.

She highlighted the government’s hypocrisy, noting that while police families were protesting in the streets, the government was busy persecuting political opponents.

She condemned the government’s move as a conspiracy and stressed that gatherings during festivals are a common occurrence in Telangana.

Former minister V. Srinivas Goud also condemned the government’s move, saying that families in Telangana usually throw parties during celebrations. He accused the government of vindictive policies.
