Richmond star Eilish Sheerin was sent straight to the tribunal after making deliberate contact with a referee, while veteran Sydney defender Maddie Collier was given a one-game ban.

Sheerin was charged with intentional contact with a judge, rather than reckless conduct, which would only be punishable by a fine.

The match review officer decided to refer Sheerin directly to the Tribunal over the incident, which occurred in the fourth quarter of the Dreamtime game in Darwin on Saturday night.

Collier was accused of rough conduct involving Brisbane player Shannon Campbell in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game.

The match review officer classified the incident as intentional, moderate impact and bodily contact, resulting in a one-game suspension.

Meanwhile, six more players were fined for their Week Nine actions.
