COOX Raises 5K Seed Round Led by Inflection Point Ventures to Expand – Brand Wagon News

COOX, an Indian on-demand home services platform, has raised $125,000 in a Seed Series round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds are intended to support COOX’s plan to expand its operational reach from 20 to 40 cities, increase marketing efforts and enhance technology by integrating artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

Founded in 2019, COOX offers over 10 on-demand services including professional chefs, bartenders, servers, kitchen cleaners, appliance rentals, cookware rentals, event styling, live singers and home cooks on a monthly subscription basis. COOX caters to a wide range of customer needs, from home parties and weddings to corporate events, allowing users to book specific services such as chefs and other event staff through its platform.

“Managing day-to-day responsibilities or running events often requires external assistance to ensure smooth management. A service provider like COOX that helps with both daily tasks and events makes life easier by allowing people to relax and have a good time. This not only provides convenience, but also supports the gig economy by creating jobs in the hospitality industry. Using technology, COOX is modernizing home services and ensuring that hosts can enjoy their events as much as guests. COOX aligns perfectly with IPV’s commitment to supporting technology solutions that create measurable impact,” said Vinay Bansal, founder and CEO of Inflection Point Ventures.

Since its inception, COOX has served over 5 lakh customers across 20 cities in India. The company has built a network of over 3,000 trained and vetted service professionals, allowing it to guarantee quality and consistency to its users. By maintaining a plug-and-play model, COOX has achieved profitability by demonstrating a sustainable approach in the home services sector.

Inflection Point Ventures, which led this funding round, has invested over Rs 800 crore in over 260 startups to date. COOX’s latest funding round marks another step in its efforts to capitalize on the growing demand for organized home services solutions in urban India.

“At COOX, we are committed to transforming the home services landscape through cutting-edge technology, delivering a seamless experience to both customers and partners. Our goal is to provide not only exceptional customer service, but also to create significant employment opportunities for hospitality industry workers. We passionately believe that “Hosts should have as much fun as guests” and we work tirelessly to bring this vision to life, allowing every event to be a memorable and enjoyable experience,” said Akshat Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO director of COOX. .
