YouTube is investigating why some Premium subscribers are seeing ads

The whole point of a YouTube Premium subscription is to improve the user experience by removing ads from the equation. However, some Premium subscribers claim that they are still receiving ads despite paying for the service.

In a Reddit post, a YouTube Premium user shared a screenshot of a mobile app showing Google Workspace ads, which should not happen. This is not the first time something like this has been reported. Meanwhile, another user reports that they were shown an ad from YouTube Playables.

“YouTube Premium subscribers shouldn’t see ads in their home feed, and we’re investigating why this might be happening,” a Google spokesperson said. Android authority. “We also advised this user that they should contact support.”
