WWE is in talks about a possible return to Australia in 2025

WWE is reportedly in talks to bring them back to Australia.

Western Australia reports that WWE is in talks with the Cook Government to bring WWE back to Australia, specifically Perth, in 2025. The report notes that the government is “silent” about these discussions. However, Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti is quoted on this issue.

“We are constantly putting on the kind of unique and exclusive events that attract visitors to our beautiful state, especially those that we know are incredibly popular like the UFC and WWE,” Saffioti said.

WWE held Elimination Chamber 2024 at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia on February 24. The company previously held Super ShowDown in Australia in 2018. Meanwhile, AEW will debut in Australia next year. They will host the Grand Slam in Australia at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on February 15, 2025.

WrestleZone will provide additional information as it becomes available.
