Goode says John McGuire needs to apologize to Republican voters in the 5th District

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (QVILLE NOW) – Appearing on Schilling’s show Monday, 15 days before the election, current 5th District Congressman Bob Good still hasn’t buried the hatchet with GOP candidate John McGuire. Good claims McGuire lied about being responsible for the Hamas invasion, opposes border security and took $10 million in dark money from former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, whom Good tried to oust.
“I think the best thing he could do is apologize, admit that he lied during the primaries, ask the Republican voters of the 5th District to forgive him and unite behind him,” Goode said.

Goode says he has receipts showing McGuire actively sought and received votes from Democrats in the primary, “and they did it by the thousands and won by 336 votes.”
He said McGuire didn’t reach out to him or his supporters the way he did when he defeated Denver Riggleman at the Republican National Convention four years ago.
