Andhra Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan visited Rushikonda structures

VISAKHAPATNAM: Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan has promised that NDA government will take steps to ensure that structures on Rushikonda Hill serves the public interest. Currently, the palace-like structures on the hill are completely unfit for use as they were built in violation of the rules of the National Green Tribunal.
During his visit to the Rushikonda Hill facilities on Monday evening while returning from Gurla village in Vizianagaram where 10 people had died due to suspected diarrhea, Pawan inquired about various issues related to Rushikonda PalaceHe was accompanied by Vizag MP Matkumilli Sribharat and Yalamanchili MP Sundarapu Vijaya Kumar from Janasena. Pawan asked MP Bharat about the legal battle aspect against Rushikonda structures.
Notably, before the general elections, Janasena Party leader Pawan Kalyan visited Rushikonda Palace. At the time, he only saw the buildings outside the palace, which was closed and maintained as a restricted area. However, this time he entered the palace premises as Deputy Chief Minister to gather detailed information about the palace, which was built at a cost of Rs. 500 crore during the previous government.
Pawan spent about 30 minutes in the room inquiring about the size of the land, its market price and legal aspects. He also spoke with staff involved in gardening and sanitation work.
