The royal couple arrived in Sydney on Friday evening.

Queen Camilla has revealed she felt the effects of jet lag after she and King Charles traveled separately to Australia during their nine-day royal tour.

The royal couple arrived in Sydney on Friday evening. Queen Camilla, 77, admitted she was still adjusting when asked by Ellie Mantle, wife of Rector Michael Mantle, whether she had recovered. The Queen responded with a simple “Sort of.”

The couple took separate flights, with King Charles leaving London on October 17 after attending to several royal duties, while Queen Camilla, known for her fear of flying, departed later and opted to make more frequent stops, GB News reported.

Camilla previously spoke about her husband’s “workaholic” nature when explaining why he stayed longer due to his commitments.

The King and Queen visited St Thomas’ Anglican Church in North Sydney on Sunday morning after a day of rest on Saturday.

During the visit, they were given gifts for their grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, including a rugby ball, a cricket ball and a stuffed koala.

The King expressed his deep love for Australia by declaring: “As the sands of time favor brevity, it remains for me to say what a great joy it is to come to Australia for the first time as Sovereign and to renew my love for Australia. this country and its people, whom I have treasured for so long.”

He also reflected on the importance of developing democratic systems, emphasizing their value while recognizing the need for them to remain fit for purpose.
