“The opportunity to play in the Real Madrid – Milan match is a very wonderful experience for a football player, he certainly has a lot of motivation. Wearing the Milan shirt must already be a huge motivation, but facing big teams like Real Madrid… There is something different.

Kaká went on to talk about what this event means for Carlo Ancelotti. Ancelotti achieved enormous success at Milan as coach of the Rossoneri. Kaka said:

“Carlo (Ancelotti), given his history with Milan both as a player and as a coach, I think it will be a meeting with a lot of emotion for both teams.”

Real Madrid suffered a shock 4-0 defeat in their previous game against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu. Numerous reports suggest that the players have extra motivation to return to victory over Milan. In their previous Champions League game, Ancelotti’s side produced a stellar comeback victory, beating Dortmund 5-2 after being two goals down.
