Cardi B joins Kamala Harris at Milwaukee rally as election campaign heats up

Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned alongside rapper Cardi B in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Friday night, trying to rally support in the must-win state.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump held a rival rally in the same city, although initial technical problems delayed his appearance.

With more than 66 million votes already cast, shattering early voting records, the race is at a critical juncture. Harris increasingly courted celebrity endorsements in the final stages of the campaign.

Cardi B, who has a large social media following, has voiced key messages from Harris, advocating for abortion rights and economic relief.

Reading from her phone, Cardi B criticized Trump’s stance on reproductive rights, saying, “I’m not risking my future… and (I’m) not risking my children’s future.” She also commented on the economic strain, calling for a stronger economy and a reduction in the cost of living.

Harris, speaking to the crowd after Cardi B, emphasized her commitment to lowering the cost of living, a major issue as Americans have faced a nearly 20 percent rise in prices over the past four years. “Lowering the cost of living for you will be my goal every single day,” she said, seeking to resonate with working-class voters.
