Burke voters have the power to decide the presidential election

Berks County voters have enormous power in their hands. The presidential election is currently a toss-up, and the results in many ways couldn’t be more serious. Berks is so important that former President Donald Trump, vice presidential candidates J.D. Vance and Tim Walz, and U.S. Reps. Jamie Raskin and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have all come out to woo us. They believe Berks voters could determine the outcome of the Pennsylvania election. This state has swung the last two presidential elections, so this district could determine the presidency.

If Democrats win on November 5, they will continue to address climate change. Republican leaders have long denied that humans influence the climate. Internal recordings of ExxonMobil executive meetings published in the journal Science show that they have been discussing the impact of fossil fuels on the climate since the 1970s and making surprisingly accurate predictions. Republicans thanked their supporters in the fossil fuel industry while continuing to deny climate change.

So, if Berks voters come out in force, they could turn Pennsylvania blue. Then the state could tip the national election in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris, and Berks Countians could ultimately save the planet from greenhouse gases and from convicted felon Trump.
