But there is one big difference between the top five on the list and Befumo.

Befumo is not an underdog in professional wrestling.

Following Full Gear, AEW owner Tony Khan talked about the match involving AJ defeating QT Marshall during the Full Gear pre-show on YouTube. He was very pleased with the former independent wrestler’s performance.

“It was amazing,” Khan said during a press conference. “I liked it. I learned a lot about marketing and entrepreneurship from AJ and Justice. These guys are amazing. I really enjoy talking to them.

“They are a really good family. It’s nice to see father and son working together. And I think that’s part of the appeal because obviously America and people around the world want this father and son. They are having a good time. They love spending time together, they love watching Justice and Rizzler grow up, and it’s really nice.”

AEW, a wrestling promotion that started five years ago, has seen great success. He signed a major television deal that will see AEW Dynamite air on TBS and AEW Collision air on TNT. The deal also expanded the partnership between the two, adding AEW programming to Max.

When will AEW air on Max?

AEW Dynamite will stream on Max starting January 1st. So this will happen not only at the beginning of 2025, but also on the first day of the year. And this is just one of many major moves by wrestling promotion, which continues to make strides not only in the wrestling industry, but also in the television industry.

Khan has been a marketing genius since AEW’s founding just over five years ago, but he’s always eager to learn. He learned a lot from the Costco guys.

“And personally, it really opened my eyes to what they can do. It was so cool to hear their name on the Tonight Show, to be featured on the Tonight Show, and to talk about AEW on such a prestigious platform. It was really cool,” Khan said.

“And this is just one example of the high-profile media that Big Boom AJ and Big Justice brought to AEW. We’re thrilled to have The Rizzler on Full Gear. I think it’s amazing. This is a great collaboration. And it’s certainly an indication of the great collaboration we want to have with our marketing partners.”

Did it work? In a word, absolutely.

The guys from Costco brought Boom to AEW

Professional wrestling is more popular than ever. On Saturday, hours before AEW took over the Prudential Center in Newark for a great night of action, GCW brought a huge crowd to the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford for a big show. And World Wrestling Entertainment has never been hotter.

This means that many people are paying attention to wrestling content on social media. And there were a lot of big stars creating content.

Yes, people care about the guys from Costco, and bringing them to AEW was a huge win for the promotion.

And yet it was perfect for the boys, including a former pro wrestler who raised his hand in front of a huge crowd not far from his old stomping ground.

“We’re having a great time making our TikToks, making YouTube videos, meeting some of the greatest creators in the world,” AJ said during the AEW Full Gear press conference. “I’ve always known with pro wrestling, when you walk through that curtain and you feel that connection with the audience, especially here in my home state of New Jersey. There is no better feeling in the world.”
