‘Put Me In’ Paige Spiranac Says She’s Very Ready After Demand From Golf Fans

Golf fans are calling for Paige Spiranac to become the next on-course announcer. Matchand the golf social media sensation admits she feels good about it.

Fans tweeted Spiranac during the last episode Match: Superstars with LIV Golf star and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson calling the shots from the fairway.

Watson, 45, was seen working with anchor Ernie Johnson and another reporter on the track, Catherine Tappen.

Fellow former Masters champion Trevor Immelman was also calling the shots in the booth.

Match: Superstars took place at the Breakers West Country Club in West Palm Beach from November 21-22.

The latest episode of “The Match” featured eight celebrities, including Charles Barkley, Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Phelps, Nate Bargatze, Ken Griffey Jr. and Blake Griffin.

Hockey legend Gretzky, father of Dustin Johnson’s wife Paulina Gretzky, eventually defeated swimming sensation Phelps 2up in the 9-hole final.

This was the 10th episode of The Match and collected more than $40 million total for charity since the series launched in 2018.

The action aired on TNT Sports and was also available to stream on HBO Max.

In one rather dramatic moment during the final match, a golf cart operator crashed into a fence while Murray and Gretzky were being interviewed.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the fence was left dented.

For Match: SuperstarsA number of fans tweeted at Spiranac, 31, that she should have been the on-field announcer instead of Watson or Tappen.

Spiranac liked it too.

“Make me coach, I’m ready lol,” Spiranac tweeted in response to one fan’s comment.

“Send Bubba back to LIV… I’d rather see you there,” another fan said.

Some golf fans even believe the match would have received more attention if Spiranac had been one of the participants.

“Name it? Damn, Paige should be in it… Then I would watch it,” another commented.

Given Spiranac’s interest in instigating some action – or maybe even acting – then who knows, maybe The Match members will soon decide to invite Paige to appear on one of the upcoming episodes.

Spiranac said this month that she was playing +3.9 disability after having her best year of golf to date.

Paige also recently competed in the PGA Tour’s Creator Classic, where she finished in the middle of the standings at East Lake.

A couple of weeks ago, Spiranac released her 2025 wall calendar and then encouraged her fans to “come and pin me against the wall.”

In the very first match, Phil Mickelson defeated Tiger Woods on the 22nd hole.

This happened at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas on November 23, 2018.

Mickelson received first prize $9 million.

The latest match came less than a month before LIV Golf’s Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka faced PGA Tour duo Scotty Scheffler and Rory McIlroy at The Showdown at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.
