NIFT 2025: Registration for entrance test begins on nift.ac.in. Check out the exam schedule

Candidates who wish to apply can do so on the official website exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to register for the exam is January 6, 2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started accepting applications for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Test 2025. Candidates interested in applying can do so on the official website exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to register for the exam is January 6, 2025. Candidates can also apply from January 7 to January 9 with a late fee of Rs 5,000. The exam will take place on February 9. The window for correcting an application will remain open from January 10th. until 12.

NIFT 2025: Selection Criteria

Educational qualifications: For B.Des and BFTech courses, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution. On the other hand, candidates pursuing M.Des and MFTech courses must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in the relevant discipline. Candidates for MFM programs must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any subject.

Age limit: The maximum age limit for undergraduate courses (B.Des and BFTech) has been set at 23 years with effect from 1st August 2025. Candidates falling under SC, ST or PWD categories may be eligible for a five-year relaxation in the maximum age limit. There is no upper age limit for applicants to M.Des, MFTech and MFM programmes.

NIFT 2025: How to Apply?

Step 1: Go to nift.ac.in website and click on the NIFT 2025 application form link.

Step 2: Enter your name, email and phone number in the NIFT registration form.

Step 3: Fill out the application form with the required credentials and academic details.

Step 4: Select your preferred venue for NIFT entrance exam.

Step 5: Submit all required documents in the appropriate size and format specified on the form.

Step 6: Submit your application after completing it and paying the application fee.

Step 7: Save the NIFT 2025 application form and print a copy for future reference.

NIFT 2025: Entry Fee

For Open/Open-EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates who are registering for NIFT 2024, the application fee is Rs.3000. Similarly, the application fee is Rs.1500 for SC/ST/PWD applicants. For Open/Open-EWS/OBC (NCL) applicants for B.Des and BFTech courses, the admission fee is Rs. 4500. Candidates for B.Des and BFTech courses with SC, ST or PwD degree are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 2500.
