Virginia, meanwhile, held on to No. 11 Tennessee and trailed by just one point at halftime, but the Volunteers then took over in the second half, behind Chaz Lanier’s 18 second-half points to run away with the Cavaliers by 64. –42. victory.

Virginia and St. John’s will now look to leave the Bahamas with victories in the third place game.
