Nurul Izzah joined the Prime Minister at the invitation of the event organizers, says Fahmy

Nurul Izzah Anwar was invited by organizers to attend events during Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s recent foreign trip, the government clarified after the opposition raised questions about her presence.

Government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil said former Permatang MP Pauh, who is also Anwar’s eldest daughter, was invited to the events after the prime minister’s wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, was unable to attend.
