Jonathan Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Drops Assault and Defamation Suit

Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari has dropped her federal assault and defamation lawsuit against him.

Jabbari filed the lawsuit back in March, three months after a jury found actor Creed guilty of assaulting and stalking Jabbari during an incident in New York in March 2023. In April, a judge ordered Major to attend domestic violence counseling.

In her defamation suit, Grace Jabbari accused Jonathan Majors of trying to portray her as a “crazy liar” rather than a victim of his physical and emotional abuse.

She claimed he had slandered her by continuing to deny the attack despite his conviction. She stated that Majors “participated in an exclusive interview ABC News in doing so, he intensified his public attack on Grace, claiming that she was lying about the entire pattern of abuse she described, since he “never laid (his) hands on a woman.”

Majors and Jabbari reportedly filed a joint notice with the court on Thursday (Nov. 21) through their lawyers, confirming that the lawsuit is “hereby dismissed with prejudice.”

Majors was arrested in March 2023 after an argument with Jabbari in the back seat of a car. Judge Michael Guffey ordered the actor to participate in a domestic violence intervention program. Judge Guffey also barred the majors from any contact with Jabbari.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Majors is celebrating his recent engagement to Meagan Good. The happy couple announced the news while performing at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday night (November 17).
