Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez laughed out loud at Marjorie Taylor Greene’s new performance

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) ridiculed a new speech from far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), calling it “really hilarious.”

Donald Trump aide Greene will lead a new House subcommittee that will work alongside billionaire Tesla owner Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s unofficial federal agency, the Department of Government Effectiveness, that will seek to cut red tape and government spending.

Ocasio-Cortez explained on Musk’s platform X, formerly Twitter, why she thinks the appointment is “really good.”

Greene “barely shows up or reads,” the New York Democrat wrote. “To use a phrase I’ve seen elsewhere, it’s like giving someone a disabled controller.”

In a second post, Ocasio-Cortez said she was “absolutely dying that these two are now given the ‘privilege’ of ‘working’ with MTG.”

“This is actually funny,” she wrote. “Enjoy it guys! You have a very prestigious position there.

I don’t know what Musk and Ramaswamy did to be so at odds with Trump already, but it appears they will be working closely with Marjorie Taylor Greene at the DOGE agency. This is a punishment that only House Republicans should endure.
