Pakistan and Kazakhstan agreed to strengthen strategic partnership

Pakistan and Kazakhstan agreed to explore new areas of cooperation and further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

This happened during a meeting between Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Bakaev and Federal Secretary for Economic Affairs Dr. Kazim Niyaz in Islamabad.

The meeting highlighted the growing partnership between the two countries aimed at developing cooperation through the Joint Pakistan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission.

They also agreed to give priority to the transport and communications sector.

Alibek Bakaev said Kazakhstan is seeking to benefit from Pakistan’s extensive infrastructure network, including its seaports and highways.
