Firefighters battle a mobile home fire on Lake Shasta; the cause is under investigation

CITY OF LAKE SHASTA – Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire early Thursday morning in Shasta Lake.

The incident occurred at the Shasta Lake Mobile Home Park at 1776 Red Bud Road.

Witnesses tell us that around 5:40 a.m. they saw the entire apartment burn and that they saw a neighbor use a fire extinguisher to help until crews arrived.

There were no injuries, the causes of the incident are being established.
