The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has announced the Class 12 examination dates for 2025. As per the schedule, the CHSE Odisha Board exams for Science stream will begin on February 18, 2025 and for Arts and Commerce stream on February 19, 2025. A total of 3,91,809 students are expected to appear for the exams. this year. In addition to regular exams, vocational exams will also begin on February 20. All exams are scheduled to be completed on March 27, 2025, as per the official notification issued by the board.
The official notification noted that examinations for internal assessments and projects, including both practical and theoretical components, will be held as per the scheduled syllabus even if any of the examination dates are later declared as holidays. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination. They should enter the examination room or hall at least 15 minutes before the start of the examination to ensure they have enough time to take their assigned seats.
CHSE will conduct internal examinations from December 23 to 30. Practical exams will be held from January 2 to 12.

CHSE Odisha Class 12 Important Exam Information

To evaluate the project and the live voice in the Commerce stream, groups of at least 24 students each will be formed. Judging and live voting for each group will be completed within two hours. This will be conducted solely by the relevant subject teacher of the institution and there will be no external examiner for this purpose.
Biology examinations for Science stream covering Section A (Botany) and Section B (Zoology) will be conducted in one sitting with a 20-minute break in between. Candidates will first receive the Botany question paper at 10:00 am and then the Zoology paper at 11:50 am after collecting the answer booklets from the Botany section.
All regular candidates (registered in 2023) and former regular candidates (registered before 2022) are required to appear for the 2025 examinations as per the syllabus and pattern specified in CHSE notification No.-Aco/09/2024/1074 dated 20.08.2024. . Distance Education (OD) students will appear for the exams in one sitting on the specified dates for Arts and Commerce streams, followed by the respective subjects (papers).
